I Am Above On The Left (Я Слева Сверху) is an experimental rock quartet founded in Moscow, Russia in Autumn 2004 by Alexei Taroutz, and it soon became one of the most welcomed experimental rock-acts of a local music scene. It was previously called IDDQD.IDKFA — a combination of two cheat-codes which gave unlimited lifes and weapons in one videogame. Lineup: Alexei Taroutz (guitar), Artemiy Galkin (guitar), Pavel Eremeev (bass guitar), Sergei Ledovski (drums). Discography: - I Am Above on the Left (LP, 2005) - an a-bomb to wake up (LP, 2006) - Tzar Of Tzars Of Tzars (LP, 2008) - Astro (LP, 2010) The band plays loud and noisy, mostly instrumental music, blending influences of art-jazz-nova-hardcore, pop-noise, math-rock, and avant-garde. The young musicians say that their efforts are devoted to "rethinking themselves at every single moment of time". Eternal life, cuaseless scare and panic, and thirst for weapon (to defend themselves against the surrounding zombi-world) are one of the main themes of their music. The band members also are known by their side-projects: Taroutz runs two experimental solo projects — Symm.Face and Wogulow; Galkin — experimental duo Kruzr Ken and solo project Weeping Camel; Galkin and Eremeev are also members of indie / rock band Foojitsu; together with Ledovski, Galkin and Eremeev comprise post-hardcore trio Usssy and Ledovsky, who seems to be most needed drummer of the Moscow indie-scene, works with Lumeny, Silence Kit, and Dream Mechanics to n
