Hilda Kazasian was born in Sofia, Bulgaria in a family of musicians. She began to sing at the age of 4 with children's songs which she recorded in The National Radio. At the age ot 9 she sang the song 'Big ones, small ones' together with Todor Kolev and the song became a hit. Even as a schoolgirl she became a soloist of the youth Big Bend, which she went at a big tour with around whole Russia (at that time still USSR). Later on, as a soloist with a marimba of a string orchestra she toured England. Hilda Kazasian has finished the musical school 'Lyubomir Pipkov' with percussion instruments. After that she continued the classical department of the Conservatory again with percussions. Right after the graduation at the Music Academy in Sofia she specialized percussion instruments in Salutzo – Italy for one year. Hilda has played in a philharmonics 'Pioneer'. She has attained all jazz festivals in Bulgaria. She has sang with almost all jazz bands and has recorded some projects with them.
