Milenita was born in Havana, Cuba in 1975. When she was 4, her family moved to Spain and then, when she was 8, to Mexico. Milenita returned to Bulgaria at the age of 14 and spent several years studying. She graduated from the faculty of law of Sofia University at the age of 19. During that time she took different occupations, most notably as a scriptwriter in the then very popular TV Show "Ku-Ku". Milenita spent several years in Spain and in the United States before returning to Bulgaria in the early 2000s. At that time Milenita worked as editor in the musical section for the Bulgarian magazine "Paraleli", TV moderator, laywer, PR consultant, back-vocal, and radio moderator in the Madrid-based radio Arguelles. Milenita has two children and lives separated from their father. Milenita became popular in Bulgaria with her 2003 single "Monogamni" (in Cyrillic: "Моногамни"). In 2004 Milenita included 3 songs in the soundtrack of the debut movie "Mila from Mars" of the Bulgarian director Zornitsa Sophia, which went on to win the Sarajevo Film Festiva]. In 2005, Milenita's debut album "Do it Again" came out After few years, in which Milenita focused on her family, she released another album "Gato" in 2010 In 2011 Milenita made her debut as an actor, playing the main role in Dimiter Kotsev-Shosho's film ''Lora from Morning Till Evening'' (In Bulgarian: "Лора от сутрин до вечер"). She also has a role in the TV crime series "Pod Prikritie|Undercover" (in Bulgarian: "Под Прикритие"
