Formed in 1995, Melbourne-based High Pass Filter is an electro dub outfit. Built initially on a love of Jamaican dub rhythms and techniques, the HPF sound fuses live instruments with the cut-and-paste stylings of dance technology resulting in what could be loosely described as a dub-electronic-rock hybrid.
