Helmut Winschermann (Conductor, Oboe) Born: 1920 - Germany The German conductor, Helmut Winschermann, worked for many years as a Professor at the Detmold College of Music. His ability to demonstrate a super-temporal valid making music brought in with numerous concert tours respect and unrestricted agreement for it. In 1960 he created the chamber Deutsche Bachsolisten (German Bach Soloists). This is a making music ensemble, which predominantly assumes itself the music of the Baroque era and ranks among the leading chamber orchestras in its type. He has continued to be the ensemble’s director ever since. Since 1995 Helmut Winschermann has been an honour member of the Royal Academy London. The Deutsche Bachsolisten playing is characterised particularly by the unpretentious, sweet playing, which was developed within the groups of instruments, to form an exemplary delicately fanned out ensemble sound.
