Artist
Johannes Wildner (born 1956) is an Austrian conductor. He was born in the Austrian resort of Mürzzuschlag in 1956. He studied the violin and conducting, and took his diploma to the Vienna Musikhochschule and obtained a doctorate in musicology. He is a member of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, and has toured widely as leader of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra's Johann Strauss Ensemble.[1] Wildner has recorded many works by composers like Robert Schumann and Johann Strauss II for Naxos Records.[1] User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
