I met Heather Greene and her husband at a coffee shop where we were all regulars. At that time she had just started recording "Five Dollar Dress", and was excited because Bill Frizell was going to play on the album (which he did, and is as usual fantastic)! Heather is a good friend and a genuine musician who has persued this passion, with the support of Matt Gershoff her husband, friends and her trusty old second hand Hammond organ. Heather Greene is astounding. And having seen her play at Joe's Pub in NYC on several occassions, I think she's even better live.
