Hany Mustafa, or HanyMust, is a singer/songwriter and musician from Cairo, Egypt. His music borrows elements ranging from indie/acoustic to alternative and ambient music. Hany launched his solo project in 2010. On July 22, 2010 Hany released his debut solo EP entitled ‘September,’ as well as his debut concert at Cairo’s El-Sakia Culture Wheel in which he was joined by some of Egypt’s finest musicians. Hany is also well known for fronting the band EgoZ, which has been touring Egypt for years. The band is releasing their first album in February. Hany also plays with popular Beatles cover band Glass Onion, which has graced stages from the British ambassador's residence to the Cairo Jazz Club.
