Aida el Ayoubi (عايدة الأيوبي) (1964-) is an Egyptian singer, songwriter and guitarist of German origin. She graduated from the Deutsche Evangelische Oberschule kairo in the mid '80s and gained fame in the early 1990s in Egypt and the Middle East. Aida is a graduate of The American University in Cairo. She only made three albums before she quit the singing career and got married. Rumors say that she quit because of her husband who didn't approve her singing career.
