HORSEMEN FAMILY is a like - minded music collective of artists under the Deceptikonz new indie label Horsemen Records, lead by respected local stars, Mareko, Savage, Alphrisk, Devolo (Deceptikonz) and showcasing the captivating new talents of Frum Tha Stablez, Axeman, MZRE, Lyric , John Matrix and producers DJ Montana, DJ Shady-1 & DJ Blaze. Horsemen Family was established in 2000 as a group of friends and supporters of two emerging hip hop Groups KAOS & Deceptikonz. Those two groups formed the foundation of the Horsemen Family ( Horsemen is a South Auckland reference to drinking, IE: to get horsed is too have a little to much at your summer party) and after Deceptikonz released their # 2 debut album “Elimination” in 2002, the group steadily began introducing other members of the family into the music business.
