There are at least three bands with the name 'Greyhaven': 1) An American progressive metalcore/mathcore/chaotic hardcore band from Louisville, Kentucky, formed in 2013. Their first album was Cult America in 2018. The band currently consists of original members vocalist Brent Mills and bassist Johnny Muench with guitarist Nick Spencer and drummer Ethan Spray. This lineup released Empty Black and This Bright and Beautiful World on Equal Vision. They signed with Solid State Records in early 2024 and released the Stereo Grief EP later that year. Their latest album Keep It Quiet was released in October, 2025. 2) A British alternative rock band from London, formed in 2014. Their debut EP, The Flood was released March 16 2015 as a free download. 3) An American progressive rock/metal band from Eugene, Oregon/Boston, Massachusetts, known for their highly acclaimed but only album Greyhaven from 2000. Greyhaven began in November 1996 when Ethan Matthews and Nate Howard began meeting and trading musical ideas. Nate had answered a call for musicians posted by Ethan at a local music shop, and a few weeks later brought in his friend and drummer, Nick Cipriano. Nick helped to develop the core unit of the group in their early years, taking over much of the engineering duties while Ethan, along with Nate wrote much of the music.
