There are multiple bands called Grey Lights Lofi rock band Grey Lights: a mostly unnoteworthy band from ypsilanti, mi, c. 2000s. played only a handful of ramshackle shows in their four or five year existence, but self-released three generally muddled or "lo-fi" sounding full-lengths (we had taken stock and found the cupboard bare, sorry for the convenience, trevor's movie) and an ep (perfect weather). the band ended on a relative highnote in 2006 when they recorded a song with fred thomas for the "ypsilanti folk singers" compilation. Electronic avant-garde duo Grey Lights: a duo comprised of married couple AsterVrisk (Lunacid) and Emerald (head of The Windless Hills) with a very slow and dreamy style. Occasionally mixing drone ambient and power electronics and field recordings. Featuring some songs with an emphasis on spoken word. They collaborated with filmmaker Alex Hera (What I Remember) on the track "Anneliese" from the record "I saw it enter my mind and body".
