Greg Houben begins his training at the Academy of Verviers but in theatre. At 17 years, he left for Brazil and during this year of discovery he decided to dedicate body and heart to music. He returned to the Academy but for music this time (Verviers, Maastricht, Brussels). As a side-man, he played in many groups (now, then and again, Agua de beber,...). As a leader, his 3 main groups cover a broad repertory (from cool jazz to Brazilian popular music and classical music).
