Eve Beuvens first wanted to play the double bass. But at age 13, she turned to the piano which seemed to her to need less strength. Directly attracted to jazz, she took lessons with Nathalie Loriers. After a degree in philosophy, she entered the Koninklijk Conservatorium van Brussel, studying under Diederik Wissels, John Ruocco, Kris Defoort, Garrett List and John Taylor. She currently plays in Tribute with Félix Simtaine, Pierre and François Vaiana and in the Brussels Little Big Band. She has also had the opportunity to appear with David Linx, Fabian Fiorini, Nicolas Thijs,... She gives lessons in various academies.
