Giovanni Domenico Puliaschi (1570 to 1622) was a virtuoso singer and composer. He was employed by Cardinal Aldobrandini, but was apparently dismissed by the cardinal for re-entering the papal chapel on his wife’s death and was snapped up by Cardinal Borghese, despite efforts to hire him for Mantua.
