Ghost-Dust started out writing music when she was just 6 on her father’s PC, using the old Cubase5. She was so attracted to how sound worked and how different sounds collide and make beautiful harmonies, rhythms and melodies. She found herself experimenting with sound from a very early age, like it was part of her DNA. Ghost’s first instrument was the piano, as a baby she used t o tinkle the keys with a very engaged ear. Ghost then went on to play the guitar at the age of 9, then followed the flute, bass, and learned to sing. During adulthood her passion for religion and world music flowed and she continued to learn the Tabla and various percussion instruments. As an adult Ghost has delved in the music and film industry already holding down work within feature films, radio, advertisements, public commissions and music industry commissions. Ghost loves to combine complete opposites of light and dark, sweet and sour, soft and hard and her experimental passions continued into combining ambient music with Glitch and down-tempo trip-hop.. Her passion for glitch is her forte and proving time and time again that glitch can be sexy, ambient, trippy, emotional and free, unlike its stigma glitch music has. Now at 35 Ghost Dust currently resides in the underground, which is where exactly she wants to be.
