George and Queen originally started in 2006 as husband and wife songwriting duo Immi Paterson and Neil Newton. In 2007 they recorded their debut album 'City' at home, from underneath their bed. Since then they have been joined by drummer Rich Pharaoh and bassist Panduka Samarasinghe. In late September 2008 they released their second album 'The Wind is Up'.
