George Kaplan is a performing named shared by two musicians: 1) Singer-songwriter Soren Larson of St. Paul, Minnesota. His first full-length, "Reinvented Wilderness", was self-released in 2007. His music often features rough vocals, a folk-based sound, and rock instrumentation. His most recent work is a four-song EP, "Putting Nowhere on the Map", released in early 2010. www.georgekaplan.org 2) George Kaplan, aka Käp, is a swedish rapper from Umeå, Sweden, born 1988 as Hannes Sigrell. He is 1/2 of the rap duo Trainspotters, together with Erk, and is a part of the (skate, snow and music) collective Random Bastards. The name “George Kaplan” comes from a character in the film North by Northwest, directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
