1. Eric "Erk/Rewind" Hörstedt is a Swedish hip-hop artists, writer, and emcee. He was born 1986 in Storuman, Lappland but moved to Umeå in Västerbotten during his childhood and got known as Erk. He is one of those who started Random Bastards, a creative collective that today works as a record label, a skate- and snowboard crew, and hip-hop collective. As Rewind, he is the first half of the hiphop duo Trainspotters(the other half is George Kaplan/Käp), whom together has released music since the middle of the 00's. In later years, Erk is seen in a bunch of other projects (sometimes as Skrrk), often with RB folk like Gonza-Ra and Imchibeat. Erk is one of the front figures in the "dirty north wave" and he often promotes artists from northern Sweden. The lyrics are freely about his home patches and Erk frequently plays with dialects and slang in his compositions. 2. In 2005, Erk Wiemer is ready to go. Having put the finishing touches to his debut album, he decided to embark on a worldwide mission using the three simple letters which can be pronounced in any language: ERK.
