Gabi's Cali Co is a multi-instrumentalist folk artist whose emotionally rich music evokes the tumult of the female experience. After an EP with acoustic duo Kattemusen in 2016 and an album with post-rock project Delsey Hill in 2018, Gabi is releasing her first solo EP in May 2023 after several long stints in Los Angeles under the mentorship of Ira Ingber (Bob Dylan, Captain Beefheart, Brian Wilson). She crafts unapologetic songs that reflect her own voice and outlook on notions of home and identity. Her music is deeply rooted in her French background, yet retains strong Californian influences and tones. Drawing inspiration from 1970's counterculture and contemporary indie folk-rock, Gabi's Cali Co's lyrics are marked by caustic and dreamlike imagery that beckons the listener's curiosity. Gabi is not afraid to offer a compelling and cathartic experience as she navigates the less-traveled paths of folk.
