Friendly Gestures is a currently a solo project based out of Orlando, Florida. The best way to describe the sounds heard are ambient, acoustic emo. Started in May 2025, Friendly Gestures was quick to release music, having released their first single on September 3rd, 2025, named “Sirens”. An EP named “The Worst of Realities” was released not too long after with Sirens, Screen Time, and one more unnamed song. This EP was taken down shortly after and remains unpublished. In late November 2025, Friendly Gestures would announce a partnership with independent Ontario based record label, Sprain Records. A performance at Sprain’s first ever “Broken Wing” Festival and a single named “clock hand” followed soon after, both occurring on February 12th 2026.
