Artist
Forever Einstein is an avant-garde band from Connecticut, USA, formed in 1989 by Charles O'Meara, consisting of Charles O'Meara aka Vrtacek (guitar & compositions), John Roulat (drums & percussion) and Kevin Gerety (bass guitar). Past members include original bassist Marc Sichel and Jack Vees. The band plays original instrumental music that incorporates a truly broad range of influences, includes musical forms not normally associated with ‘progressive rock’, such as blues, country, folk, surf-rock and cartoon and film soundtracks, but the central core of Einstein is a dedication to the song form and reliance on melody, harmony and polyrhythms. They have been compared to King Crimson, Frank Zappa, and Gong. All of their albums have been released through Cuneiform Records.
