There are at least 4 artists known under this name: 1) FiST is a german rapper. His latest release is called "Sturmzeit". 2) Fist (originally called axe) was one of several early NWOBHM bands who were signed to MCA records at about the same time (others in this group were Quartz, Tygers Of Pan Tang, and White Spirit). Their sound wasn't too different from their contemporaries, with the exception being they had a slightly more melodic feel to their songs. Two albums were released, and like many other NWOBHM bands, they faded away soon after, disbanding in 1984. Fifteen years later, original members Keith Satchfield and Harry Hill put the band back together with a new lineup and are active at this time. He began his musical career in 1999. His first experimental album “Такой, Какой Есть” (“I Am, As I Am”) was released in 2001; the style of that record could be classified as a standard rap, however all songs on the album are very lyrical. These days Fist feels a bit ashamed of that release, because back then he was greatly influenced by wish to make rap music, while now he has found his real musical style, which isn’t as simple to classify as his first work (however his music still has some hip-hop elements).
