Fingerspitzengefühl (SWITCH OPENS) from Stockholm, Sweden plays original heavy rock with a retro touch. Its brutal and intense, yet groovy and dynamic. The debut album "Fingerspitzengefühl" was highly acclaimed in leading Swedish and European media, such as Metal Hammer, Rock Hard, Close-Up Magazine and Sweden Rock Magazine. The second album, entitled "Happy Doomsday", was released in Scandinavia in September 2006. It was recorded during last winter in between gigs and smaller tours, and was mixed by Nico Elgstrand of Entombed. This far it has been recieved with praise. For example it got the honourable second spot in Close-Up Magazines soundcheck section before bands like Napalm Death, Death Breath, Helmet and Trivium. Fingerspitzengefühls frequent gigging with bands such as Entombed and The Psyke Project has made them a reputation as an adrenalized live act, crushing everything in their way.
