Ferial Confine was an alias used by Andrew Chalk as early as 1985. Unlike most noise groups of the era, " Ferial Confine was just concerned with recorded sound and developing ideas in music". In 2008 a CD of previously unreleased material entitled "First, Second and Third Drop" was released by Siren Records.
