Fast Point are a hardcore punk band from Grimsby. As of 2010 Fast Point have now aquired Kirky of Hordes/Deal With It/Kirkys Doom Project/Kirkys Records/Clockmaker/Pullin Teeth/Choke fame on vocals alongside Craig Barker, and are writing for a new LP. They have changed the musical direction of which they were founded and are now going for a dual vocal attack in the vein of PitBoss and general brutal beatdown hardcore. Look out for this mammoth of a release on Kirkys records coming late 2010. Fast Point is Craig, Rory, Liam & Dave, they play fast hardcore in the vein of early Black Flag/Beastie Boys their songs are largely influence by skating. Forming in 2006, Fast Point have toured the UK extensively, most notably the UK tours with Sheffield's Cop Out and Norway's Death Is Not Glamorous, along with jaunts in Europe with Damaged Goods and Vogue. To date Fast Point have released: - Self Titled Demo (Iron Mind Demo Tapes) ~ released 2006 - Skateboards & Powerchords 7'' (Audacious Art Experiment) ~ released 2007 - Good Times Compilation 7'' (Town Clock Records) also featuring Cold Ones, Visual Offence and Screwed Up Flyer ~released 2008 - Good Evil LP (Fornax & Kamikaze) ~ released 2008 .. Fast Point are currently writing new songs to be released on a split 7'' with Durham hardcore band Hordes which will be released to co-inside with a possible UK and Euro tour in June 2009.
