Cop Out - 2004-2009 RIP. Was Tom (vocals, bass), John (guitar), Brydog (backing vox, drums) they are a melodic hardcore punk band from Scunthorpe who formed in 2004. Having ripped up their local scene playing shows with One Car Pile Up et al. 2006 saw Cop Out migrated to the Bright Lights of Sheffield where they released their legendary record "Demo - 2006" playing support to bands such as The Legacy, Fast Point, Death Is Not Glamorous, "Demo - 2006" went onto sell over 100 copies worldwide. An extensive schedule in 2007 and U.K tour with Fast Point co-incided with the critically acclaimed split C.D - E.P. Further Sheffield shows supporting North Lincoln, Milloy, New Bruises, (as well as a bunch of Hardcore bands) followed. Talks of worldwide domination, and a split 7" with Manchester's The Cost Of Living grew in 2008, as Cop Out's reputation within the D.I.Y punk scene enhanced. But said split didn't materialise due to unforseen unwillingness from nameless people. Cop Out - S/T 7" finally came out in March 2009 as they embarked on their second full U.K tour with OFF WITH THEIR HEADS. Support slots with PROPAGANDHI and Shot Baker followed the successful U.K tour. However tensions rose as John was too intoxicated to play and fell over when supporting New Bruises at The Stockroom - Sheffield in June 2009, with both Brydog and Johno being arrested for separate incidents, rumours rose of trashing venues, drug taking, and alcohol abuse, with the cancellation of other shows a d
