Artist
Short lived 4 piece pop outfit from Hong Kong who breathed its last around June 2007 when guitarist Chi Wai suddenly departed. A 3-song EP will be released by Cloudberry Records in USA to commemorate their existence, entitled "Well, well, well". Formed in 2004, the foursome undertook the momumental task of transforming the face of the then local Hong Kong indie pop scene into, well, what it is today, which frankly hasn't changed much. On a fantastic day (pun fully intended), the band manages to sound like the most promising guitar band HK never had, though, these moments are far and few between. Fantastic Day (phase II) is currently scheming in their secret hideout, in yet another bid to transform the face of the local HK indie pop scene. Dee still sings and plays most of everything while Halo and Simon take the helm of providing unsteady rhythms. If anyone is interested in contacting the band, please write to Dee at dovespounding@yahoo.com.hk. They are currently looking for like-minded musicians to join them in splitting the rent of their roach infested studio. Latest Update July 2009: Dee sells sea shells by the sea shore...
