Face The Harbor was a post-hardcore band from Columbus/Westerville, Ohio, United States. Formed in late 2010, Face the Harbor was a fresh new addition to the Ohio Post-Hardcore scene. After receiving high online popularity due to members of the band being in popular bands before Face the Harbor, they released one single, The Gulag, which was well received. The band then spent some time booking shows stretching all across Ohio, often picking up a date or two with big bands entering the state of similar genre. As soon as the band was done with playing their string of shows, they immediately went into the studio to track their 4-song debut EP, entitled “Nations”. On November 1st, 2010, the band released the single off of their EP “Too Young”. After the release of this single popularity for the band sparked. The band began to build a stable following within the northeast, and such states as Texas, California, and Georgia. On February 4th, 2011, their debut EP “Nations” was released with incredible feedback. Shortly after this release, the band began booking shows in the northeast to help promote their EP. Their most popular song, “Beliefs”, has been played on the air countless times. From April to September, the band halted their touring to work on writing new material and perfecting live performance.
