Poet Clayton Wolfe finds himself at a strange level of unease. The world of poetry is inundated with generic and derivative verse, and Wolfe answers the cry of an art form in pain. Joined by urban philosopher Izzy Real, Wolfe launches the F.Poetry project in hopes to expose literary, cultural and philosophical holes found in modern literature. In F.Poetry's first installment, A Study on What Not to Do In Literature, focuses Wolfe and Real's attention on an anonymous author whom they believe is the archetype of an underachieving poet. The duo points out clichés, fumbles over awkward flow and rhyme schemes, bristles at bad imagery and analyzes the fallacies behind concepts, and they do so with wry smiles on their faces and an absurdist accent on their tongues. F.Poetry is a must for aspiring writers and literary critics. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
