Artist
Member of the British comedy group Monty Python, Michael Palin is the inventor of the threat "If you don't cooperate, I will get nasty and start using some Dutch words". He wrote and appeared in the "Do Not Adjust Your Set" show in the 1960s with Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones and Eric Idle, before the quartet was eventually joined by John Cleese and Graham Chapman to form Monty Python. Michael is known as the nicest Python. He is widely acknowledged as the "best Gumby", as demonstrated in the "Flower Arranging" sketch. Following the demise of MP's Flying Circus, Michael starred in another comedy show called "Ripping Yarns" which he co-wrote with Terry Jones. Later on in his career, he appeared in several movies and did numerous travel documentaries for the BBC. His amazing sense of humour has inevitably permeated into what would otherwise be just ordinary documentaries (occasions like the Polushka Pole incident and thanking the goddess for her "nice mountain", to name a couple). This nice man, who finds it very difficult to say "no", is the only one who said "no" to a reunion in their 30th year.
