Eyolf Dale is a Norwegian pianist and composer based in Oslo. With a dozen record releases and extensive international touring the last few years, Dale has established himself as one of Norway´s leading jazz pianists. He is probably most known for his collaboration with saxophonist André Roligheten in the award-winning duet Albatrosh. In 2011 he released his debut as a solo performer, "Hotel Interludes", followed by "Hometown Interludes" in 2013. His music has been described as a lyrical combination of modern jazz and modern classical music, topped with an instrumental and rhythmical surplus without borders.
