It is not known when or where Jo Domp (or "Evil" Jo Domp) was born. What we do know is in 1990, Joe Domp (not the "Evil" variety), one of the singers of Fred Gombo & The Sex Socks, went missing suddenly. During the ensuing weeks that searches and investigations took place, a very large figure got off the Greyhound Bus in Namodriew, and introduced himself as Jo Domp. This was a surprise for many. Until then, regular Joe Domp had only three known brothers; John, Ghonkee and Domp. None of them had ever met "Evil" Jo nor had even heard of him. Their parents had been passed on for some time, and family records were impossible to locate. Following a short series of odd events, Jo found himself "taking over" Joe's record contract, his royalties, house, intellectual property, and a vast collection of used pizza boxes, themselves estimated at a value of over $30. Not long after the real Joe Domp resurfaced, Jo Domp disappeared almost as quickly. "Evil" Jo's legacy was the album "Kills" (1990) and remains a fan favorate, funnily enough. After Jo's departure, regular Joe Domp resumed his contract thanks to a patient entertainment lawyer who also moonlighted as an insect trainer for the film industry. It remains a mystery where Jo Domp came from, or how Fred Gombo was fingered as the suspect in the Joe Domp disappearance, especially when you consider the first track on "Evil" Jo Domp "Kills" is called, "He Was A Sniveling Whiney Bastard And I'm Glad I Have His Record Contract."
