Eriney's music is best described as Medieval folk from the Balkans. It combines Europian Medieval music with typical Bulgarian and Oriental flavoured folklore. The group is formed in the end of 2011 and has grown from 3 to 6 man band, adding new instruments and influences. The band is formed in the late 2011 by Alexander Tupankov, Zdravko Peev and Nikola Petrov as they begin to create original music by the name Сур (reads "Sur", an old Bulgarian word for "gray animal"). In short time the three musicians write several original instrumental compositions and arrangments for authentic Medieval and folk songs. They do a couple of live shows on Medieval festivals throughout Bulgaria, but soon feel that their music is incomplete without a singer. Little later Nikola meats Denitsa Serafimova (former singer for Irfan, Om and others). The band creates more original material and record the song "Златната Ябълка" (The Golden Apple). Soon the skilled musician Evgeni Chakalov connects with the band and after the first jam session is invited to join in. Little later Viktoria Nikolova, a friend of Alexander and student opera singer joins Eriney to complete the line-up. The musicians constantly work on new material to perform live Line-up: Denitsa Serafimova - vocals, percussion Viktoria Nikolova - vocals, percussion Nikola Petrov - celtic bouzouki Zdravko Peev - oud, saz, tambura Evgeni Chakalov - tin wistles, irish flutes Alexander Tupankov - percussion The description in their official F
