Information from Psychedelicized: "From: New York, USA. The Epic Splendor were a studio band put together by Capitol Records in New York. The band was signed to record and release music on Capitol’s new subsidiary label Hot Biscuit. In November 1967, The Epic Splendor released the single “A Little Rain Must Fall” / “Cowboys And Indians.” The A-side was a local hit, but it was “Cowboys And Indians” that caught the attention of psych fans. The song was written by brothers John and Terence Boylan and features trippy guitar and an unusual beat. The band released a second single in February 1968, featuring “She’s High On Life” on the B-side."
