Eoin Clements is a solo musician from Wicklow, Ireland. Primarily a guitarist, Eoin uses many instruments & technology in recording and live performance. His musical style encompasses alt/light rock with an emphasis on the sound evoking feelings rather than the lyrics. His work is 50/50 instrumental/lyrical. Clements was musically influenced by Nirvana, Manic Street Preachers, Muse, Pink Floyd and The Redneck Manifesto. His debut album (Eh…) is set to be released in mid 2007. Early Life Eoin Clements grew up in Bray, Co. Wicklow. He attended Pulse Recording College in 2002, where he studied sound engineering. He graduated with four City and Guilds distinctions. Clements began learning to play guitar at the age of 11 after his brother began to show him how to play some of their favourite songs. Prior to attending Pulse Clements began to discover the possibilities of music technology and now cites his laptop as his most valuable instrument after his guitars. Since leaving Pulse Eoin has been through a mixture of weird and wonderful jobs. He began writing and recording ‘Eh…’ in 2005 with help from Daniel Stuart. In 2006 he moved to New Zealand with a desire to finally finish the album. ‘Eh…’ was finished in April 2007 and is to be released in mid 2007.
