Utilising the screen on stage as an integral 5th member, the band seeks to present an 'installation' where sound and image interact in unexpected ways. Dumbsaint create a live performance in which each song is a short film, and each screening a musical set piece. Formed in 2009, the band quickly developed a cult following for their innovative live performances. A residency at Sydney's Excelsior Hotel saw the band launch their independently produced DVD, 'Perennial 2009', which quickly sold out. After landing supports with acts such as Thousand Needles In Red, Headphones President (JPN), Sleep Parade, sleepmakeswaves, Laurenz Pike (PVT) and showcasing at the Progfest and Menagerie festivals, the band entered Studios 301 with producer Tim Carr (Matt Corby, Totally Unicorn, Serious Beak) to record the debut album, Something That You Feel Will Find Its Own Form.
