Artist
In 2008, Emil Brynge relocated to London from his native Sweden, having already performed in the UK at various gigs and festivals since 2006. His songs and lyrics are infused with his reverence for nature, and a deep interest in visual art inspired him to write a song about Brancusi's sculpture 'Bird In Space'. As a guitarist, Brynge's finger-picking style is strongly influenced by musicians such as Nick Drake, Robin Williamson, Bert Jansch and The Incredible String Band. He also plays several other instruments including sitar, violin and piano. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
