Beneath The Oak

Biography: Beneath The Oak started as a jam between Paul Wale and a couple of friends from an old Black Sabbath influenced rock band at the begining of 2007. They played their first gig at the Black Swan in York. Since then Beneath the Oak has played many gigs and has seen a few different incarnations! Now Paul has teamed up with singer-songwriter Aimie J Ryan, and very recently bassist Mark Waters to form the current line up. Beneath The Oak are working hard to make 2009 a very busy year for themselves, and it's already shaping up nicely! They have a new E.P ready to record in the next couple of weeks, and with their gig calendar starting to look like a lot of fun and frolicks, Beneath The Oak are to journey away from the shelter of the trees to wherever the wind may take them.
