Elettrofanti formed in early 2008. Its musicians had previous experiences, also at a professional level but quite distant from each other. The band begins serching its sound, mixing pop, rock and electronic, and publishing in early 2009 "Elettrodemo", an 4-tracks EP whose sound blends synthesizers with acoustic guitars and mixtures the beat with the melodies in Italian style. Across 2009 and 2010 they keep on searching their identity through a more distinctive sound: the band writes and produces new original songs, concluding the recording and mixing sessions in September 2010. Play! label (Florence) released the CD single "Saturday Nite", entirely in English, publishing two original songs and a reinterpretation of the famous Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby. " Waiting for the album release, scheduled for the early months of 2011, the band is now engaged in rehearsal sessions to test new material.
