Since 2009, the five members of Electric Children have worked towards crafting a fine blend of hip hop, jazz, R&B, and soul that will tickle your ears and shake your hips. Until now, their focus has been live performance chalk full of both improvisation and catchy hooks. Currently located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the group is a perfect example of the combination of Minneapolis' musical history and its future. The members take lesson from the city's hip hop pioneers, classical training, jazz, jam music, and classic rock, but the sound is anything but pretentious. The group composes cooperatively and organically, as each member contributes their unique musical background to the performance.
