El Moono are a 'genre-phobic' band from Brighton, with influences of rock, hardcore, metal and grunge combined beautifully within each song. They released their first EP 'Tides' back in 2018. A few singles followed before their follow up release 'Temple Corrupted' in 2022, which featured artwork by legendary artist Dan Hillier. In 2024, El Moono are back with The Waking Sun, their highly anticipated debut album, recorded at Middle Farm. The band are further exploring their mind-bending riff writing, emotive soundscapes and expressive lyricism to create a record that will further prove their genre-phobic reputation.
