Stiv Kahlina known as El Bahattee was born on 23.03.1979 in Zagreb, Croatia. Growing up in Zagreb's Dubrava, struggling with a bad financial and family situation were the foundations which later on gave him the well known edge to his lyrics. The basketball team which he founded when he was sixteen and writing rhymes helped him get through rough times. His love for hip-hop music resulted in meeting and joining the local team with similar affinities for that kind of music. He met General-Wu and the guys from the group Young Lords. They help him to make important contacts with hosts of the radio show called "Blackout", Frx and Phat Phille. He started his career as a guest on the cult début album of the group "Tram 11" on the songs ''Pismo 1'', ''Pismo 2'' and ''Crna Kronika". He also played a key role on the album "Blackout 00". His talent was recognized by the publishing house "Dallas Records", and in the fall of 2000, Bahattee signed a label contract with them. The fabulous début ''Svaki Pas Ima Svoj Dan'' saw the light of day on his 23rd birthday: 23.3.2001. The first single from that album ('Svaki Pas Ima Svoj Dan) was met with a very positive reaction from the media, and critics could not find the right words of praise for his album. If we add to all that excellent sales results, we come to the conclusion that it was one of the most successful album débuts ever in this area. After a successful summer tour with the rest of the Blackout Team he was greeted with
