Eilandnet is a moniker of Dutch electronic music producer, Hugo van de Poel, who is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Van de Poel used to be the drummer of psych pop band, Earth Mk. II. As an electronic music producer he makes synth pop, sung in Dutch, as Stippenlift. Eilandnet is his instrumental outlet for ambient, meditative electronic / synthesizer music. Eilandnet's debut single, 'Zeeland', came out in 2016, followed by the EP EP1 (2016) and two full-length efforts, Ludo's Synth Emporium (2019) and The Soothing Christmas Album (2021), a seasonal album of sorts. 2022 saw the release of The Soothing Bathing Album. No less than three new albums were released in 2024: The Soothing Healing Album, Serotonin Spa and Lunch in Space, lifting the number of full-length Eilandnet outings to six in five years' time.
