Echo Town are a Leeds based upbeat folk rock, reggae acoustic band. The used to be a heavy rock band but have finally found their perfect genre. The duo are mainly influenced by Australian talent such as Xavier Rudd and The John Butler Trio as well as Ben Harper and incorporate lesser seen instruments such as the Weissenborn lap slide guitar in their music. They are also influenced by regular trips to the East Coast to surf. Their recent 12 track album "Come On Over", recorded at Bradford's Peak Studios, is released on a self owned label and is available on CD and digital download from iTunes and Amazon. Their music captures a positive beach vibe that carries and lifts the spirit even when the weather is dismal. Read the reviews on iTunes.
