Holy Moly & The Crackers are a folk-rock band from Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. In 2012 the band released their debut album, First Avenue In 2013 they released a 3-track EP titled Lily Three years later, in 2016, the band released a single: Burning Black Wheel. The following year they released three singles: Cold Comfort Lane, Let Go, and Punk Drunk Xmas Eve. This culminated in their second studio album, Salem. In 2018 they released one single, Gravel Rag. Then in 2019 two more singles were put out, All I Got Is You and Upside Down, which led up to the release of the band's third album, Take A Bite released in April 2019. In 2020 the band released two more singles, Road To You and Firelight, as well as a live album - Live in Europe 2020. In 2021 they released one single, Cry Wolf. Then in 2023 they released their fourth album, Solid Gold. Leaning more into their Americana inspirations and partly influenced by a trip to Austin, Texas in the spring of 22, it has quite a different sound to their folk-rock origins.
