The Early Music Consort of London was founded in 1967 by David Munrow and Christopher Hogwood and disbanded in 1976 after Munrow's untimely death. The group had a tremendous impact on the performance of medieval and early modern music. On an Overgrown Path offers a tribute to Munrow.
