EP's Trailer Park was founded in 1999 by singer and songwriter Eric Palmqwist and quickly became one of the more hyped bands in the early twenty-first century americana wave in Sweden. With Eric's voice and songwriting as EP's Trailer Park's musical core, there has been a steady stream of talented musicians appearing in the band. Former members include Tobias Froberg, Magnus Tingsek, Arvid Lind (Popsicle) and Björn Yttling from Peter, Bjorn & John among others. The band has previously managed to release three full length albums and an EP, played support act to Jose Gonzalez, Christian Kjellvander, Great Lake Swimmers, Beth Orton and Buddy Miller, and played at festivals and venues such as Hultsfred, Royal Albert Hall, Emmaboda and the Reeperbahn Festival. Ane Brun and Ron Sexsmith are among those who's visited the stage. But one can't live on what's been done in the past, the band needed new grounds, and new air. Last year the band went back into the studio and for the first time ever they took in an outside producer - none other than Swedish indie pop godfather Andreas Mattsson. This was a new step for the band, not only was it the first time an outsider produced, Andreas also worked with Eric in the final phase of the song writing process. The goal was simple: to grind up and refine their sound and find their inner pop vein previously hidden under the layers of americana and country influences.
