Songs of Soil was a band consisting of the brothers Christian Kjellvander and Gustaf Kjellvander. The band was a temporary side project for the brothers, as Christian had taken a break from his band Loosegoats and Gustaf had disbanded Sideshow Bob. They only made one album, The Painted Trees of Ghostwood (released in 2000). Gustaf Kjellvander went on to form The Fine Arts Showcase, while Christian embarked on a solo career.
