Dusken Lights is an Australian folk indie group from Sydney comprising Paul O Watling, Francesca Bussey, Philip Rawlinson and Alex Salter. “The players from Indie, Alt-Folk outfit, ‘DUSKEN LIGHTS’ must be extra-committed to their music. All three band members live in different states of Australia so a simple call to rehearsal finds each of them having to dig deeply into their stash of frequent flyer points. Perhaps all the air miles are having an effect on their sound because their sweetly melodic songs of love, loss and yearning evoke the wide open spaces of the heart as much as the wide open spaces of the land that they’ve been traversing.
